Twang, the Fool, calls for attention.

The
Maid in the Lily-White Smock comes toward the door during the
singing of the Glocestershire Wassail to let the players in.

"Old Father Christmas, welcome or welcome not."

The
critical part of the play, after St. George has battled the Turkish
Knight and been killed. The doctor comes forward to revive him.

The
players dance the sword dance in honor of St. George's rebirth.
|

"Our
play is done, we must be gone, we stay no longer here.
We
wish you all, both great and small, a happy, bright new year!"
