Steering Committee Nominations
The Steering Committee of ECC is the leadership body which, along with the Chaplain, helps "steer" ECC in its mission to the Cornell Community. There are a total of nine people: five are students (undergraduate or graduate) and four are other adults at ECC (i.e,. non-students). Terms are for two years. Each spring, elections take place. This year, four students and one "other adult" are rotating off.

The Steering Committee has nominated persons for the about-to-be-vacant seats on Steering Committee.  As of this morning, Katie Grace (other adult), Hannah Newfield-Plunkett and Martin Geiger (students) have accepted the nomination of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee would like to make one of the four vacant student terms into a special one year term so that in a year from now, there will be two students going off, reducing the turnover and evening things out a bit. Erik Kenyon has accepted nomination to that one year term.

If you would like nominate yourself or someone else to stand for election, please let Cynthia Bowman know by April 23, 2008: <>cgb28@cornell.edu. The election is scheduled for April 27th, after the worship service.
