ECC is officially a Diocesan College Chapel. Our chaplain is appointed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Central New York, after consultation with ECC’s Steering Committee, and serves at the pleasure of the Bishop.

Our coordinating body is a Steering Committee whose nine members are elected to two-year terms. Most matters of importance to the community are brought before a general meeting of the congregation. The Articles of Association that define our structure and procedures express the democratic and egalitarian values that have traditionally characterized the community.
